“Inspired to Create”
I’ve been stuck. Not having the time, energy or motivation to create. Here’s my latest Photo Haiku and the story behind it

This week, the Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) are due to start blooming in the Tokyo area. Along with sunshine and warmer weather, the Sakura signal the end of Winter and the start of the Spring season. This is a photo I took last year, but I’m looking forward to many opportunities to add to my collection this year, our last spring living in Japan.

“Snow Monkey Onsen”
Last month Teresa and I finally made it to the Nagano area for a quick overnight trip at a Ryokan. The Snow Monkey park was close by, so we made the trip to see them in their “native” habitat. They are free to roam the park and they enjoy bathing in the natural hot spring. Their faces are so expressive and you can imagine that they are enjoying many of the same sensations we experience, letting our cares float away in the hot water.
